Ready to Make Nice?
Hi everyone,
At a post-Thanksgiving dinner party last night, I was intrigued to hear one agent - from a prestigious agency, pontificate on the WGA strike and proclaiming with comforting authority that the strike will end on December 7. Wouldn't that be nice?
Others at the table predicted death to the life fantastic as we know it. Meanwhile, I trolled three picket lines yesterday and got a good laugh out of some the new signs the writers were carrying.

I spotted:
"Will Strike For Churros"
"They'll Get My Pencil When They Pry It From My Cold, Dead Fingers"
"4 cents -- You Have That In Your Cushions"
"5 c a bottle/4 c a DVD (8 c in Michigan)" (that one is hilarious!)
I am hoping Mr. Big Agency Guy is right. I'd kinda like to not worry about Christmas. Unlike Madonna, I haven't canceled Christmas in my house!
Typing with crossed fingers,
Aloha oe,
AJ
