Pulling the Wool Over My Eyes
Hi everyone,
Been busy with this co-authoring thing. I must say, writing alone is easier! I am feeling the urge to keep working on my own stuff as our chapters flow back and forth via email and our individual time constraints. It's interesting seeing how everybody has their own way of working...their own way of telling a story, shaping their characters etc.
I have been researching the Caribbean and am more and more intrigued, despite the abject poverty of some places.
Saw photos of Trinidad that made me cry; dead and starving dogs lying under people's houses and the occupants waving to the camera.
My own adorable dog got extra treats this morning just to assuage any [unnecessary] guilt I might be feeling in the area of her care and upkeep.
This is one pampered pooch!!
I have been playing Keali'i Reichel's Christmas CD Maluhia, released last year. This time last year, I was driving around Oahu with this CD blaring from my rental car. Thank God I am going back next month. I am in serious need of an Aloha infusion...
Speaking of which,
Aloha oe,
A.J.
